He raced full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series from 1993 to 2015, driving the No. 24 Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports. Gordon is considered one of the most influential drivers in NASCAR history, winning four Cup Series championships (1995, 1997, 1998, 2001). He also won the Daytona 500 three times (1997, 1999, 2005). Renowned for his racing skill and competitive spirit, Gordon helped popularize NASCAR beyond its traditional Southern U.S. base.
