Sunnyland Slim, born Albert Luandrew in 1906, was a highly influential American blues pianist, singer, and songwriter. He was a central figure in the Chicago blues scene, known for his distinctive piano playing style and soulful vocals. Sunnyland Slim played a significant role in shaping the sound of post-war urban blues and was a mentor to numerous younger musicians who would later become legends in their own right.
